Hi n5 here is a config.txt you might be able to test (you will be able to alter the .txt and change resolutions. It sits within the contents file with data, frameworks, npcnames ect. Config.txt (187 B)

Thank you SuburbanSB. Unfortunately though after placing the file into the Contents folder within the .app and editing it to launch in Windowed mode, the game launches just as before with no difference to be seen. Afterwards, just to be sure I placed the exact file you've provided and saw no change in reported behavior.

Hmmm.. alright n5, may I direct you to the bugs forums found here, if you check out the sticked tabs (in purple) you may find a solution among them.

I agree that if you're playing on a low res, fonts are very unreadable. But on the MBP 13 Late 2013 or Mid 2014, just put 1080p (or little less) and it will be ok. I'm not sure that you can set a higher res on yours :/

Mac feature request: Please add command-Z, C & V (along with control-Z, C & V) for undo, copy & paste
All platforms request: I'm hoping "medium cog" implies there will be large and/or small ones; please add some more (at least 2:1 and 3:1 ratio unpowered cogs) so mechanical devices can be made.
Requested performance info/specs: The small fonts looks a little weird; I don't know if it's handling the full-screen 1440x900 well, as it's not listed as a selectable option.)
It runs fine for me in both Mac & Windows, except when having an insane amount of items clumped together (like a 9x9 grid of objects runs at 3.0 FPS); interesting part is if they're all pistons and you expand them all, the FPS goes up to a more reasonable amount, until the pistons close.
Mac OS Version 10.10.2 (Yosemite), Windows 8.1 (dual-boot) 2.66 GHz Intel Core i7 8 GB 1067 MHz DDR3 NVIDIA GeForce GT 330M 512 MB MacBook Pro (15-inch, Mid 2010)
