Hey Besiege Team, whenever I try to start up Besiege, it wants to go into full screen. A few moments later, the game crashes. I would love to try your game but I am not in a hurry Specs: OS X Yosemite Version 10.10.2 MacBook Pro (13-inch, Late 2011) Intel Core i5 @ 2,4 GHz Memory: 8GB 1333 MHz DDR3 Intel HD Graphics 3000 512 MB Much Love, Buchenherz

MacBook Pro (Retina 15", Mid 2012) Processor 2.3 GHz Intel Core i7 Memory 16 GB 1600 MHz DDR3 Graphics Intel HD Graphics 4000 1024 MB Software OS X 10.9.5 (13F34)
It ran between 30 and 60 fps, depending mostly on DOF and other graphics settings, and the general insanity of what I was building.

Very true, macs aren't meant for gaming, but all I have at the moment is my macbook so I don't have a choice. Still for a game that's less demanding like this it's not too bad.

10.10.2
2.3 GHz Intel Core i7
16 GB 1600 MHz DDR3
NVIDIA GeForce GT 650M 1024 MB
MacBook Pro (Retina, Mid 2012)
Runs well on defaults at 1920x1080. Struggles with complex physics and large machines.
Also struggles in windowed mode, when switching resolutions, and when switching desktops while game is running (as it is with most 3d games).

Everything seems to be playing very well so far on a 2011 iMac. I also have a Windows copy that a friend bought for me on Steam, and so far the Mac performance is very similar. Running at 1920x1080 fullscreen, all video options enabled except FXAA and DoF.

I would like to test Besiege on Mac as well. Is this possible when you've bought the game on steam?
I have a 2015 MacBook Pro with graphics card.

No lies guys, this is the first game I've ever bought in an "alpha" state - I had to though...looks gorgeous, and as a graphics designer, I have to applaud the look & feel...
Anyway, enough chit-chat... Game runs pretty sweet, no crashes yet, plays nicely with OS X's window manager (e.g I can command-tab out of the game without crashes, it respects Mission Control), and I get a good 40+ fps, full-screen at native res. I also got the black screen on loading, but when I command-tabbed away and back, it went away and game loaded normally (also, only happened on first-load. Preference-setting issue perhaps?)
System Profile
iMac (27-inch, Mid 2011) 3.1 GHz Intel Core i5 4 GB 1333 MHz DDR3 AMD Radeon HD 6970M 1024 MB Mac OS X Yosemite Version 10.10.2

Game runs very well on automatic resolution, fullscreen. All setting on results in 4 fps :/ however, with DOF turned of a smooth 20 fps is achieved. Everything seems to work exceptional, however, when a large amount of blocks are place 20x26x1.5 lag is somewhat noticeable (15 fps) however when using the machine, 3 fps is noticed.
- OSX Yosemite 10.10.2
- 2.3 GHz Intel Core i5
- 16 GB 1600 MHz DDR3
- Intel HD Graphics 3000 512 MB
- MacBook Pro (13-inch, Early 2011) - MacBookPro8,1

Just downloaded the alpha from Humble.
1st try - Opened a black window, a few seconds pass and then the window goes full screen. Unresponsive. <CMD+ALT+DEL> 2nd try - Opened full screen to opening scene. Selected Options and clicked all the boxes. Then selected a few different resolutions as well as clicking the auto option. Eventually got a beachball. <CMD+ALT+DEL> 3rd try - Opened full screen to opening scene. Selected Options and clicked all the boxes. Played nicely.
