When I record a Besiege video and upload it i get 2 black bars on the left and right of the recording from what I am assuming is from the resolution the game is running.
What do I change / set to get a fullscreen picture when I record? Should I play on the popout window setting?

It's beautiful quality but when I upload my clips to youtube I get two theatre bars on the left and right of my video because the resolution is different on the game im assuming. I do play in full screen but look at this video for reference. www.youtube.com/watch?v=-ZhnZfln-3Q

Yeah, that's probably just the difference in resolution. If you absolutely need to have it fit with the youtube-player, you could crop the video, though that would cut out some of the HUD. If the HUD is really important for you (on video, you'd still be able to see it), you probably have to use windowed mode.

Personally, I'd suggest Fraps, DXStory or OBS as well, depending on how much you're willing to invest into your channel.
