Hi everyone! Do any of you remember these ? Well, I've managed to replicate it in the game! I give you : The Snake GameThe game is quite simple. Your task is to keep the "snake" as straight as possible. You will rapidly see that it's kind of hard. How ? Use the Left and Right arrow keys to rotate the snake on its axis and use Up and Down keys to tilt it up and down. You will soon see that you will have to battle constantly against it to keep it as stable as possible. Also, because there is no torque on the wheels, I had to put two of them in opposite directions with a slight difference in the spinning power (to create torque). Here is a video of what it looks like playing it. And here it the file : Snake Game.bsg (5.9 KB) Keys:Left / Right arrow keys : rotate the snake on its axis (using the wheels, basically) Up / Down keys : Tilt the snake upward and downward. If you want to "reset" the snake, lower it and it will behave Enjoy

Here try some fly snake. FlySnake.bsg (8.07 KB) arrow key for turning Jesus Stantian... You're the most shameless self promoter I've ever seen. You usually only comment in your own threads, but when you DO comment in other peoples...it's JUST an effing link to one of your own threads. Either that, or you just straight up tell people what you think they SHOULD have done to make it better... Literally. It's only self-promotion and straight up unwarranted advice. Remember that time you linked me to one of my OWN creations and told me to check it out and learn from it so I could improve? Well I do! Have you no shame?

Thanks Discopanda! Well, I don't mind that much. At least my thread got bumped But in any case it's better not to promote your machines in someone else's. One way you can do it is linking your machines in your Signature on the forums. That way, people can see what you did but you don't throw it at their faces. Any thought on the Snake Game, though?

I think it looks like a lot of fun! It really took some ingenuity to think up! I might steal this "hinges connected to a wheel thing" for future use in any "tails" I make. I really wasn't satisfied with the tail I created on what would have been my dragon. I'm curious...did you have to use wooden blocks in between each hinge because of the current glitch where hinges stacked on hinges become stiff?? (turned my flail-wielding knight into a mace-wielding knight, lol) Ooh! Idea if you're interested: You could add a fail-state by putting a fire-ball on the ground under and off to each side... go too far to the side = catch fire! Also, If you had 2 with separate controls you could have local pvp like that guy did with the dueling bots. Look forward to more from you!

Thanks for the feedback. Actually, I've used wooden blocks right away to mimic the way the toy is made. As for the "hinges connected to a wheel" feel free of course! That's why we share our creations here, to give other people ideas The two wheels setup worked fine to have "finer" controls. The idea is that you have one wheel that goes in the right direction and the other one goes in the opposite direction to give it some resistance. If you set up one wheel at .25 (the one that touches the "tail") and the other one at .15, you'll have a .10 movement in the end but way more "smooth" than with one wheel at .10. I'll think about the fail stages, I like it, thanks! As for the " PvP", I'll have to think a bit more of a way to confront two snakes in a fun way Thank you for the feedbakc!!!

I explained to you in one of my post I think. It's not like that. It's not I "straight up tell people what I think they should do", I don't actually capable to tell people my thought in a "more acceptable way". Of cause I will try to improve my language skills, but, I'm not intentionally to offend you guys. Like this time I post this link just because the key word Snake is the same. So I think it is fun to do so. look, just give me an example which you think is a good way to tell people what I think they can improve.
