... when you can use them as wheels ?!?! I present to you : The Omniaka The Drift Machine
So, the principle is quite simple. It has spherical wheels. So it can go any direction (omni-directional) you want it to go. Controls are as follows : Numpad 8 : ForwardNumpad 5 : BackwardNumpad 4: Slide/Strafe LeftNumpad 6 : Slide/Strafe RightNumpad 7: Rotate LeftNumpad 9 : Rotate RightI've highlighted the Front of the vehicle (with armor and two blades) so you can see which way is Forward/Backward/Left/Right at any moment. Controls are a bit tricky at first but you'll get the hang of it. Here is a video of what it can do Here is the file : Omni.bsg (11.06 KB) Enjoy ! PS : If I've learned anything from this build : the simplest solution is always the best...

This is real killer. It moves like a hovercraft almost. How does it do when bearing a load?

Thank you for the comments I've tried to put suspension on it but it was wayyy to hard to get the boulders stay under the half-pipe (cf my PS). I've not tried to put some load on it yet... The hard part is to have enough "traction" when it weighs more. The simplest design is the lightest and therefore is also the easiest to maneuver. If I had some load, I might need to add more flying block. I might be tweaking it a little bit for some useful stuff (mounting a catapult/canon, weapons, stuff). Feel free to make your own "hovercraft-like" vehicle from it
