Made another thread on the new forum!
Gentlemen, behold! This sturdy beauty has been built for the exact purpose of beating every level on Ipsilon without need for adjustments.
It can roll over soldiers without slowing down, it is equipped with a fixed canon but it'll be a piece of cake for a professional siege engine operator to make it aim upward, it has an explosive in storage which it can deploy with its mounted tail grabber, and the whole thing is coated in metal plates that drastically reduce any damage done to it, while its 4 motored wheels with suspension keep it at top speed. The wheels don't use any steering, instead they perform turns like a tank would.
Controls:
Right Arrow: Makes the wheels on the right side spin foward (which makes you turn left)
Left Arrow: Makes the wheels on the left side spin foward (which makes you turn right, you get used to it quickly, hold both left and right to move forward)
Down Arrow: Makes both wheels spin backward. Holding down as well as a Right or Left arrow will make the engine spin quickly.
This configuration gives a lot of manoeuvrability to the engine.
C: Shoots a canonball
Numpad 1: Turns the grabber inward
Numpad 2: Turns the grabber outward
Numpad 3: Detaches grab
Notes and tips:
* Make sure you move forward just a tiny bit when you spawn to have the grabber catch the explosive. The explosive won't detonate from small quakes, however arrows are your only threat, so stay on the move.
* You should be relatively safe from arrows as long as you face the archers, thanks to the wooden planks.
* To aim the cannon upward, simply move backward a little, then move forward, this will lift the front of the engine. You can also use this technique to climb hills.
