First, check out my original post to learn how to walk with this thing >>>here<<<.
If you haven't noticed yet, I'm a huge fan of Pacific Rim.
Striker Eureka is the most advanced Jaeger Humanity has left. HELL YEAH! AUSTRALIA!
He even comes with a finishing move to knock out kaiju, ala Power Rangers.
Now you'll be prepared for the oncoming assault on humanity with this guy.
Here are the controls for this bad boy.
So this thing has an order of operations.
1. Press "T"
2. Hold "M" till the chest opens.
3. Press "T" again to retract the chest.
4. Press "Y" to push forward cannons.
5. Press "1, 2, and 3" in any order to shoot cannons.
6. Press "Y" to retract cannons.
7. Press "T" to push the chest forward.
8. Press "N" to close the chest.
9. Press "T" to put the chest back.
Have some glamour shots.
Man, look at that Jojo pose.
Here he is at the wall.
If you want to stay true to the movie, remember to scream when shooting off the cannons.
Confused on how to Walk? I added a video.
Some changes from Cherno:
1. After some testing, I was finally able to make a more stable walking schematic. Turns out, the bigger you make the scale, the more the mech sags into itself. By tightening the walking legs up a bit, I was able to fit a whole bunch more weight onto the platform and make the mech more mobile at the same time.
2. I played with the suspension a bit. It's 3 times as stiff, so there will be less wobble as you walk around. I've removed the need for spring bracing.
3. He's not exactly street legal. His head and wings just clip out of the default box for single player. Feel free to shave off the top of his head and move the wings down.
Fun Facts:
You can punch out bombs from a safe distance with his extendo-arms. The front leg is armor plated to prevent you losing the two pistons in front from fires.
You can also use the arms to balance yourself if you begin to fall in one direction too fast. Point in the opposing direction and punch to counterbalance your weight.
He has the same problems as Cherno. Can't rotate the chest. I guess I'll just have to wait for the Big Power Gear to come out.
Download him and have fun!
