I was so bored today that I built a giant wheel... it works suprisingly well.

This needs a chaos engine, somehow.

This needs a chaos engine, somehow. Just put a chaos engine on the side along the same axis where the starter block is.

Moved the starting block out of the way and added two chaos engines! No idea why it keeps going right, it's perfectly symmetrical... w/e, still awesome.

Can you share it? I want to figure out how you got angles other than 90 degrees. Does it have to assemble itself after you press play?

I'd also be interested in how the angles are done :]

I'm wondering if you could steer/stabilize it by adding little propellers to each side (instead of "chaos engines")

I completely forgot to add a download. Sorry guys! This one's without the chaos engines and the starting block still in the way: wheel.bsg (24.54 KB)

This one's with the chaos engines and the starting block moved: wheel3.bsg (30.42 KB) Had to make a second post because of an arbitrary attachment limit ..? I'd also be interested in how the angles are done :] I just changed the 90 degree steps to 22.5 degree steps. Allows for a lot more cool contraptions

they really should make it possible to make such angels, why not... you can use hinges and physics to angel things... why not build them straight up...
