I had a craving for some mounted combat. Spent a good couple hours trying to make a mounted knight on a walker (OY!). Gave up on that baloney and just made it a friggin hobby-horse, lol. I just finished my first prototype and it works really well! In the coming days I'll probably add a few variants with weapons of different kinds, and possible even take the time to create an entire other mounted knight in the same save so people can DUEL! (or joust!) Anyways here's the first fella. Made some videos of him flailing about. Pretty funny to watch, but so fun to use! Knight Rider.bsg (31.35 KB) Controls are up/down/left/right to move horse Q/E to rotate torso (doesn't rotate fully, just enough for some control) Press 1 to raise arms and 2 to lower them. It's a good idea to slightly raise the arms before your start swinging! Shift swings the sword arm down, Left Ctrl raises it. Z extends sword arm slightly (necessary for hitting those fellas on the ground) A good technique is actually to swing backwards with Ctrl and to press Z to extend the arm. Since the arm locks in that direction due to the elbow, you'll get a goo power hit most times. Let me know what you think, and perhaps what kind of knight you want next! ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- EDIT: And here's a few more! A knight with a warhammer: Knight Hammer.bsg (33.5 KB) And one with a Flail (and a silly hat): Knight Flail.bsg (32.78 KB) Apparently you can only attach three files per post, so the rest will be posted below. Have fun guys!

It's added now. I'm not gunna lie we were all blown away by this Praesumo. We plan to do a video of the greatest war machines we've seen so far, but now I'm thinking we need two, the second for the craziest contraptions!

Glad you guys are liking it. I'm thinking after I add a few differing weapons 'n such, I may see if cloning this guy, and giving them lances would be feasible for a good local PVP jousting. (The only limiter here I think is Framerate)
With just this guy on screen we're already at 50% or below. If I add a long fence (jousting arena) and another horse I'm worried it'll be too slow to be fun.

Here's the other two that wouldn't fit in the main post: Here's a couple videos of the Grenadier Knight in action: Knight Grenadier.bsg (37.25 KB) Controls are same as other knights, but with X to release. And here's a even sillier "non-combattant" knight who just wants to play with his plane! Knight Hobby Flyer.bsg (36.18 KB) Plane release and throttle are both X. then just use arrow keys. I'm loving this game. You can make so many things with so few parts. Can't wait till they add more

Glad so many of you liked these knights! I may have to give another go at trying to make the horse actually walk. That would be a challenge.

I may go back to try and perfect/finish them, but I just don't have the time right now. I might consider doing smaller walkers though. (People seem to love these cutesy bots more than massive complex machines anyway)

Ehh.... i hope this cuteness fashion will die soon :/ Its because i dont really know how to make such cute little mass murder weapons My construcions rather relay on their durability (which makes them rather boring to be honest :/)
