So.. I didn't even touch the Flight parts until I had completed Ipsilon, but I went back and started playing around.. it was fun!
This is the first aircraft I managed to make fly and steer. There is no forward and backward propulsion, however, momentum can be picked up.'O' to hover, < and > to steer..Attachments:GullMk1.bsg (4.94 KB)

I did the same. The aircraft parts are just so hard to use with the current parts and controls. I also noticed something weird. The propeller blade seems to create MUCH more lift than the wings ever can. I did some tests, and I came to the conclusion that air-speed passing over the wings has almost no effect. The biggest effect was at what angle the wings were tilted against the travel speed... (simulated air-resistance?) I tried making a flapping bird, and no matter how fast I flapped, the wings generated no upward force...
So far the best I've managed is a helicopter (of sorts) that basically works like a rocket. Don't fly too high or you'll freeze up! (literally)
