While it's obviously much easier to simply blurt your train of thought into a single post, it severely degrades the usability and usefulness of the Suggestions forum. Discussing a single idea coherently becomes close to impossible if one thread introduces five. These collections will generally overlap with several common suggestions, which would be easy to avoid if the poster Searched First (TM) and the first hit was a large, dedicated thread discussing the idea he was about to post. Many will likely feel their specific suggestion deserves it's own thread over a collection-idea, resulting in more duplicate threads.
Many of the suggestions also act as pseudo-feedback. I imagine a dedicated forum section for feedback could work well to cut down the noise, or even simply encouraging posting feedback posts into the general section.

This is a reasonable suggestion, it would be better if it were 1 idea per thread. I may update the rules to reflect this, I'm also considering creating "Official" discussion threads for popular ideas.

The official threads will become necessary after a while. I see a lot of forum moderators often create a "consolidated suggestions list" to sum up what the hundreds of individual posts below have in common...and then lock it at the top.

And then noone is gonna read it anyways. I've seen this first hand at the robocraft forum, everyone and their mother still posts the 100 same suggestions that are already listed.

Im currently working on merging ALL of suggestions from "Suggestions & Ideas" section into one clear post (with links to original threads ofc), merging repeating suggestions (accumulating links to original threads under one idea), and removing obsolete one (like request for ability to change keys assigned to blocks - which already exist in game). I already did about 25% of that, and i suppose today late evening i'll be able to deliver (CET time).
PS I believe that having all of that iin one place (and im willing to try and keep it up to date ) would be good, since then developers could answer to that and maybe we could organize polls about which feature should be added next (if devs would like us to)
