Heyo developers, i only heard about this game today, but i have already put 9 hours of my hard time into it developing Amazing tanks, helicopters and cars with my cousin. Anyway we sparked up a conversation about some cool features that cood be added into the game and at this point in time it is an extremely impressive game for how far developed it is! We love it! but we have a lust for more content! so i came here to give you some suggestions.
1. Map editor, This would be an amazing addition, crafting your own puzzles for others to figure out! not only could you craft your own defending machines with the machine parts but you can also place enemies and build forts!
2. A Driver, i would really like to see a little dude sitting in my helicopter plummeting towards his ultimate demise! it would be glorious!
3. Fully fledged worlds, Now i know that there is a peticular style to the game and this involves it, but i would really like to see atleast one fully fledged world, with no empty spaces. i would prefer this to be just a sandbox map.
4. Multiplayer, this one is the one that was discussed the most, imagine medieval robot wars, You and your friend build two different machines and fight to the death! or you build two machines and one of them is ai controlled. I would also really like to see some Coop action too. Theres a boulder blocking your path and you need two machines to move it because its soo ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ heavy, you end up crushing your friend with the boulder and laughs all around!
Anyway i hope i have my wishes clear and seriously guys, you are amazing! this game is barely in alpha and it is full of potention and it already has soo much to offer! I would love to support you guys in anyway that i can! Seriously, this game looks absolutely amazing.
-With love, Dascuugen <3 <3 <3

I'm pretty sure the limiting factor on suggestions 3 and 4 is that CPUs can only handle so much. Not everyone has a multi-thousand dollar PC with the latest and greatest graphics card. I myself am already hitting the playability limit just having my own creations on-screen. I can't imagine it would be possible with ANOTHER large machine in the mix, combined with hundreds more trees, rocks, hills, forts, and armies.
TL/DR: While I'm sure the dev would also love to create all those things, there is only so much your average modern PC can handle.

WOW! Thats a lot of time, really glad to hear your enjoying the game. Thanks for your feedback aswell, at this stage of development we're not ruling anything out so its great to know what is important to people. I'm sure you'll be pleased to know that a map/level editor is planned for a future update, though creating one will be a significant time investment so I can't really offer you a timescale for it.

For multiplayer, I have several game modes
PvE: Big fortresses that range to gigantic protected fortresses that need from 2 players to as many as 16 players to take on
PvP: Create vehicles and fight to the death.
PvP: Each team builds a building and vehicles to attack enemy building and to defend their own, upon death players have to wait 30 seconds or more, in that time frame they can change their vehicle (this would have to be done in teams of friends, since trolling would be a big thing, so similar to ranked teams in league of legends.)

Multiplayer: I know that implementing multiplayer would be difficult, and potentially laggy/CPU intensive, but after getting this game only 3hrs ago I have already completed all the missions in the alpha (I think?), and made all my friends buy the game (and bought it for those who couldn't afford it).
The whole time I was playing it I was thinking "OMG medieval robot wars is gonna be sooooo cooooool!! I hope the release version has multiplayer!". After finishing the levels I immediately came here to check if multiplayer is on the to-do list, and to say I am disappointed to hear it's not planned, is a massive understatement!
This game is so amazingly fun that it NEEDs to have multiplayer, it would substantially increase the play life of the game (my friends and I would spend a week or two of evenings building a vehicle for a fortnightly battle, I'm sure).
PVP 2 player would be enough (to keep it as simple as possible), and you should be able to choose from some basic arena/PVP multiplayer maps.
...anyway, my other suggestions are:
Spend limit: Like in Armadillo Run, put various costs to all parts and limit the spend to complete the level (more advanced/useful parts cost more than base blocks etc).
Item limit: As above but with maximum number of parts instead of money to spend.
Recording/playback: I would also like the game to record the last simulation and offer the option to save a reply for sharing or later viewing. Sometimes you can succeed with the craziest contraption and never manage to do it again, so it would be cool to be able to record it to watch again, share with your friends, or export to .avi etc.
Anyways, well done on making such an awesome game and I really hope that you reconsider adding multiplayer into the release version.

I really like the idea of multi player they could make it with a class system say small, medium, heavy based on the size of build box you are given.
There are so many options for multi player.
I have been thinking of a timed stage over a cheeky obstacle course and having an on line leader board I would love that so much you wouldn't get me off the game with an option like that.
I think it would be fun to have coop construction and piloting/driving too with each person having control of set things could make for some insane machines.
Plus pvp

This is the primary reason that we don't currently plan on adding multiplayer. I mentioned above about a class system would it be possible to have a smaller build box or limit the number of blocks to make a machine usable for PvP making it more feasible even if it is just two v two?

ratter please don't double-post it makes thread less readable (and also, especially since you don't have avatar it makes easier to mistake your post with someone else's) there is an edit button in upper right corner

I would love to see a map editor for this game. That'd be pretty fantastic and lend itself to the creative energy this game brings to the table. That'd be hella amusing. That just doesn't seem possible. However, I would/could suggest that we could toggle different skyboxes and ground textures, including the default as well as other flat colors or say a pretty blue sky and a green grass texture. Actual grass so the ground actually looks grassy rather than a flat could be a changeable option based on what your PC can handle. Multiplayer surely must be a thing in the future. Battlebots style arena spats. There'd have to be some way of balancing creations out against each other though... To which I recommend this: besiege.freeforums.net/thread/155/money?page=2
