I think it is a bug, apparently someone don't think so. So I invite you dear Besiegers to perform a test with me. As we know, the Decoupler will disconnect on the surface it connected to, which is the one you click on when you build them. and when it do so it will give a push toward that side. Test1.bsg (1.55 KB)Use this, just press J and you'll see the force. if I connect other block to this Decoupler, it will still work every time. like this: Test2.bsg (2.34 KB) But when I put the same thing but use the adjustable weight instead of wood, weird thing happened: Test3.bsg (1.83 KB) As you can see, the core get to shoot into sky every time, but the weights are basically random. Guys Please give it a go and let me know if we get the same result.

Lol. So now we're posting bugs in the wrong section? Look. I see there actually IS a problem now, with these new files you uploaded, and the better description you gave with what the problem was. But in the bugs forum, you didn't post these files, or explain this clearly. You posted one file, which had this creation in it (pictured). In these pictures you can clearly see that the explosive bolt is mounted to the wood (what it would separate from normally). You can also see wood blocks on the side of the bolts, which creates a second connection which would have prevented the bolt from releasing. At no point in the original bug report did you say "I reverse-mounted these explosive blocks. They're attached to the ballast blocks...because that's what I'm trying to disconnect" So at first glance you clearly made an error, and I thought it was not a bug. But after this post I can see there does actually seem to be a problem. Still, you should have posted what you posted here in that SAME bug report. Not go off into the completely wrong place for bug reporting, trying to find friends there.

Yes, Sorry for misleadingly descried the problem due to myself didn't quite understand what was wrong and posted in this section which you're in charge. And thank you for directly jump to conclusion before test the machine for like two time. I did post a functional "war machine" here for everybody to test, so I don't think there are anything wrong there. Also I believe this bolt lunch thing can bring people some new ideal in their creation. I'm not trying to "find friends" but just need to confirm it is not a glitch on my own computer. Thank you very much. Sir.

This thread has been moved from "War Machines" section. I know it may be kinda late for that - but just for the record: Von and then me had a quite of a problem to decide if that thread should be moved. Here are the reasons behind the final decision: The subject of thread is basically a bug, even an OP states that in first post. Fact that somewhere are attached / depicted actual machines does not automatically make a thread suitable for War Machines section (explanation in next line) The "spirit" of War Machine section is to present solutions and machines for public appraisal, and fun. This is a place to brag and discsuss schematics. The "spirit" of Bug Reports section is to, well, report and discuss bugs. If the bug is related to particular block it feels only natural to post examples in form of actual machines. I can't stress enough that this was very ambiguous issue, so all opinions are justified. Also i'd like to appeal to Praesumo and stantian to keep their cool - these posts here are a little bit passive-agressive and thats unnecessary - lets have some understanding and patience for eachother. I hope there will be no hard feelings about all that, the fact that thread was moved doesn't mean that one of you guys was right and the other was wrong - as i said it was very hard problem which we decided to solve that way (and i think such "asking about the spirit of the section" is a valid approach for future issues). So thats it. Thanks for all your contributions to community and keep up the good work.
