How do you turn balast blocks to make a wheel? i found the file, and i cant spin them like this! =( It's in the YouTube video description, but go to the modding forums here and look around. i see you found a way to improve my wheels but using indestructible blocks is kinda cheating isn't it I don't know. What are the rules of Besiege? It's not like I have invincibility on. :v The joints are 'destructible', anyway, which is all that matters. Without that bracing pattern, the tank just collapses without even bombing it.

You made it on the pcgamer "awesome machines" list. Congrats! Dear lord. That list had some really terrible stuff on it. It also seems like they only considered things made in the last 4 days or something.

Haha, it's even worse than that. They basically just grabbed a selection of cool-ish stuff from r/besiege/'s Hot and New sections at publishing time. :v

But one would think they should spend the time to find to some great designs, as this is a publication which could bring readers to the website.

They don't need good designs from a Besiege player point of view, they need good-looking ones their readers haven't seen before. If you spend days finding 'great designs,' people will have seen them all by the time you publish, so there's a bit of a catch-22 situation for them.

Fair enough, I can't imagine how hard it would be to publish this sort of thing, however I do agree with you on this. I suppose it gets to a point where it would be hard to find new things, when most of the great things have already been seen...surely though, even if they put in some more known designs, it would get people to either react saying, ehh theres better ones (bit of controversy), or get them to agree...

you can use the non-flammable, bomb proof steering block for forward momentum (albeit they're slow).

If you can think of a better steering system I'd love it, but steering blocks won't move the wheels. Here's a light- and heavy weight version of just the frame, in case someone wants to give that a try. ChaosTank-FrmHW.bsg (208.82 KB) ChaosTank-FrmLW.bsg (208.82 KB) I'm pretty excited about using this platform or something like it after the move to Unity 5 and multi-core support, since that'll let me run it at more than 10% time. Would be nice if it could turn, though.

How come using tank controls don't work for your tank? (It is also way too laggy for me to try and test out)

Short version: It breaks. We'll see what happens in a couple of updates, I saved the frame version for a reason.
