I'm not sure where to ask this, but this seems like a good enough place to ask questsions. If this is wrong, let me know.
So I was wondering if I bought Besiege on Steam if there would be a way for me to get a non-steam version of it as well. I've read that I can buy it from the Humble Store to get this, but I have my money in Steam so that's not a great option.

Hi dfrostedwang and welcome to the forums As I know, you are not able to buy the game from steam, and be able to download a non-steam version as well. The only way to do this is through humble bundle. If you are using a mac or linux computer, at current you HAVE to buy it through humble bundle to be able to play it at current. There is no difference between non-steam, and steam. If anything, the steam version is easier with the downloading, and looking after files. modding will be the same, all you need to do is find the folders that hold everything. And when in game, it's easy to access the saved files through a handy shortcut link in the saves tab Hope this helped!

Thanks, I guess I'll just buy the Humble Store version of it. That way I can definitely get what I need.

Alright You also get the game key for steam (as I assume you know ) So it's the best of both words. I know myself though, when updating without steam. (I'm on a mac) You will need to back up your save/screenshot files before doing so, or you will loose them. When it does come to steam for OS X/Linus, I will defiantly change over to steam. Makes things easier.. automated updates and all
