Hi,
A simple question really; given the huge recent success of Besiege in terms of early access sales & excellent reviews; do the development team now consider this a full-time project? Is there a commitment to create a full, completed product? Is there an approximate build release schedule?
Thanks in advance! Jordan

Moved.
Hi Jordan,
Although I've only recently joined SpiderlingGames but I've know the Devs personally for a long time. I can tell you that Besiege has been a full-time project for the last 16 months, The Devs have always intended to provide a full game for people to play. The reason the game was released to early access is quite simply that they needed funding to finish the game, but they wanted to provide a high quality Alpha that would be worth its cost alone. Due to the massive positive feedback we've had and all the support from people buying the game, I can tell you that they plan on developing Besiege for another 1.5-2 years before the final release.
We are working on an update schedule at the moment but its very hard to say exactly how long it will take us to do certain things because this is our first major project. But we will be giving out some information on that soon.

Do the developers rely primarily on early access (EA) sales for funding, and is it possible for development to stall due to insufficient EA sales?
Also, I hope you guys have/will soon get an experienced game startup person on board if it's your first project. I've been there. (I've seen some things, man, and some stuff. Wouldn't recommend it!) There are lots of little unforeseeable things that you can pretty much only deal with sufficiently by having dealt with them before, especially since you guys went viral.
