Just bought the game on steam. When I try to start the game I get a soundless black screen. Alt tabbing out leads to a crash announcement from the game. Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit. I5-2500k processor gtx 980 video card. 16bg of ram. Version 505864? Whatever current steam version is. Attachments:output_log.txt (18.98 KB)

There are a few things you can try:
- Making sure all your drivers are up to date
- Running the game in admin mode
- Manually setting your resolution in the config.txt file

I have the latest drivers for my graphics card.
Running in admin mode had no effect.
I couldn't find a config.txt but in the registry the resolution was set to 1080p already.

Restarting my computer seems to have solved this.
