 We now have a new improved forum to use: NEW FORUMWe decided to make the move to the new forum because of the growing size of the Besiege community, there were serious limitations to the old forum in terms of customisation & storage, we want to make sure we have a good foundation for the community as we move forward! The new forum will also serve any future games of Spiderling Studios as well as containing development, update & community blogs. (This will replace our tumbler, which we will no longer update)Unfortunately we will not be able to transfer our current database across to the new forum, for this we are profoundly sorry and I assure you this will be the one and only time that this happens. This will mean you need to sign up again and manually transfer any content across from the old forum to the new one, any content that you want to keep.The old forum will stay up for another week to allow users to transfer their content across. If there is any content left that is important to the community (guides/tutorials/etc) at the end of the week I will manually move it across, I just wanted to allow people the time to move it themselves so that they can continue to edit it on the new forums.The new forum isn't 100% perfect yet, but I wanted to get everyone moved over ASAP to prevent further loss of content. Anyway, I hope you like it & we're sorry about the inconvenience! PS: Modders permissions on the new forum haven't been set up yet, but it will work the same way it did on the old forum. |

Hey Von. Just started migrating my stuff to the new forums. Will the ability to edit and update blog posts be available? I have a some posts under the blog that I started that I would like to be able to update every few days but I don't see that option. Thanks!

Edit: Now I find a way. btw, Is there some options like a posting besiege blog and war-machine forum section at the same time?

Though that would be restricting the players, as some people may just want to finish up any discussions here without having to bring it over to the new forums.
Although locking all posts might be something that could be done later in the week this forum is left 'open'.

Mehhh, I don't like the new design at all. This:  looks much nicer than this:  this will take a while for me to get used to the new forum.
Topics do look really nice with the dark layout, but the front page is ehh. Though I can't really say what's wrong with it. |

Material design wise, I wouldn't say so... I think the new forum looks a lot better.
Layout wise, with the smaller icon and harder to see from a distance... perhaps
However, any change will take some getting use to, but in the end it's a good thing. Particularly if they plan on releasing multiple games in the future.

It's because the forums are not set up as proper forums in standard layout. Standard forum layout would have a "Besiege" category with forums War Machine, Guides & Tutorials, Suggestions & Idea, Support, Bug Reports, and Modding, and those forums would then have proper subforums. Instead, the front page looks weird (to regular forum users, probably not to others) because what should have been the Besiege category is set up as a forum under the Spiderling Games category, and all actual forums are subforums under that. It's confusing.
