My previously played PC game save doesn't sync to my new Mac application on Steam. Anyone have a fix?

I don't think syncing via Steam is implemented at the moment. If you want to copy your saved machines and what levels you completed, you need to copy the "Saved Machines" folder and the "CompletedLevels.txt" file. These are stored in Besiege/Besiege_Data.

Any idea if copying that file to the mac will screw up any future syncing? Do we have official word if syncing will be implemented? I thought that was the point of buying through steam...

I don't think it would screw up future syncing, as steam would read those files as being the same name, and thus are already synced. Although I do not know how syncing works, I am just going on how I know copying a bunch of files from one folder to another folder works, if they are the same name, it assumes is the same file, and asks if you want to update the files.
Well, the point of steam is the convenience of automated updates, and (as this is 0.0.4) the possibility of workshop, and other features. You do have to be aware this is a very early access game.
