I've been having sporadic issues with certain machines not loading after being saved (not even the green source block). None of the previous solutions have worked, and after looking for fixes I also determined that it was nothing to do with my OS language messing with the BSG file.
It turns out, that if you place down a block that has controls associated with it (I've tried steering blocks and steering hinges, but I assume all of them will give the same results), open up the key rebinding tool, and set the controls to blank by pressing "Enter", and then save your machine, it won't load.
I've tried this on two separate machines (both Win7, one 32bit, one 64bit), both running the latest update on Steam (0.04), and I got identical results.
It's a really easy mistake to make when rebinding keys, so apologies if someone has already noticed this and reported it.
