Hi all, first of all i wanted to say: WOW, just WOW! This game is great, and really impressive for an alpha! Now of course i'm wondering what comes next! I did not find a list of planned features. Is there one or do you just not want to make promises at this point? Cheers, Lixus

I'm sure you've seen Von's Update schedule: besiege.freeforums.net/thread/563/update-schedule-v0-03 Although, from what I've seen in the forums, they don't have a list of planned features (though, they do have a TONNE of community suggested features!). Although Von did mention they are planning on implementing a map editing feature, to allow players to make maps! Which would be absolutely fantastic!

The lack of a public road map is my #1 concern about Besiege. "We want to surprise people" coming from companies without a marketing department almost always means "we are playing this by ear," and it never works out.

Then if thats the way they want to play it, then thats up to them. It's honestly what works for the company, but I do agree, some form of road map would be good... I mean for all we know, they could already have it all planned out, just haven't made it public. (although, I don't think they were expecting the reception that it received xD)

If they think they do, they are delusional.

Hmm perhaps. maybe they aren't first timers, and maybe they have some idea, and researched... it's hard to make assumptions when you don't know them, nor their situation, so all I can do is give my thoughts which is what I've done (and I'm sure you as well)

I can understand people's concerns about Besiege's future and their desires to know whats in store for the game but this issue is more complex than it seems on the surface, its something we've discussed a lot but still haven't reached a decision about.
I know its frustrating, but all I can do at this point is ask for your continued patience.

I can understand people's concerns about Besiege's future and their desires to know whats in store for the game but this issue is more complex than it seems on the surface, its something we've discussed a lot but still haven't reached a decision about. It's not at all the only thing you can do: You could just tell us what you're thinking. Nobody's going to be mad if you say you didn't expect to get however many thousands of early access players you got and are overwhelmed, but everyone is going to be mad if you tell us nothing and are overwhelmed. Don't be Starforge, just talk to us instead of pretending you're in control of what has got to be an insanely chaotic situation for you.

Seriously though, I'd like to see a roadmap as well, but I can wait to see what you're releasing without worrying too much, I'd rather have no info than a Molyneux situation.
