Hiya! Been loving the game, i bought it as soon as i saw it on indiedb. Hope it does well for you. Really well done and intuitive. Im actually surprised more people haven't been posting, and at the lack of youtube videos. Im exploring vid cap programs for the first time, to post my experiences... Couple things i've noticed: - sometimes basic blocks don't link up with each other when you fill them in thusly:
Unless im doing something wrong. My workaround is just to use a brace there, or sometimes a double block in that spot fixes it. - minor UI thing, where the indicator loses its track:

I'm sorry, I'm not entirely sure what you mean about blocks not linking up. Do you mean there is no structural bond between the sections?
And thankyou for the UI report, I will pass it on to the Devs.

It was love at first sight for me, too. I've noticed the same issue where adjacent blocks aren't connected. It can be caused by the two sections being connected to independent hinges, like so: In this case, the blocks at the top are not connected to their horizontal neighbours. I can see how it might be desired behaviour, and it can be changed if necessary with braces, but I suppose the ambiguity is to be expected with such a simple point-and-click interface. I'll have to do some more "testing". Ethan, are your blocks linked together at the other end with other blocks only, or are there mechanical components between them?

Yea, no bond between them. If i was to put a single block into that spot in my screen shot, it wouldn't link up with both of the adjacent blocks. Just one.

Thanks for the updates guys, this bug has been identified and we're working to fix it at the moment.
There is a problem with how the single block detects and forms a bond with surrounding blocks. We're also looking at making the hinge better at forming bonds with attached blocks.
However the lack of a bond between blocks that are side by side is intended. That being said, we will be creating additional blocks with which to construct your machines and some of these may fill the roles of having blocks side by side.
EDIT: I recommend using the longer wooden block for the time being, it can still be place in a gap that is small like that.
