You go about your business making an awesome (at least in my mind) catapult or something along those lines, only to have it fall apart when you press play. Clearly some of the blocks didnt attach.
This is really annoying because you cant tell if they are attached or not.
It is most prominent when using hinges (ie if you used two hinges on a catapults beam you cant tell if they are both attached)
I know it can be fixed with some struts by they really ruin designs
Anyone else have this?

The Devs are aware of this issue and are working to fix it.
I think this bug applies to Hinges & the single block.
I know that progress on fixing this bug is going well.

In the meantime, there are workarounds. It's a bit tricky to explain, but try to place your blocks directly on the faces you want them to connect to. Double blocks can be used in single spaces, and when you do they will connect whatever is touching their ends/square faces, if that makes sense. There's also an older thread about this same issue.

I can easily reproduce this just by making two vertical blocks, then trying to span a bridge of blocks horizontally between them. The order is something like this: ===== (single blocks) 13452 (order the blocks are placed) Perhaps this has something to do with the blocks not being perfectly cubic? They seem to connect up fine end-to-end, but not side-to-side or end-to-side. I've attached an example build and a screenshot showing this behaviour. Attachments:

The problem was caused by the single block not forming connections properly with surrounding blocks, this issue has been addressed in that the Devs have reworked the way that blocks form connections so this bug will be fixed in the next update.
