The game just goes ahead and crashes when attempting to start from Tridef Ignition (3D enabling software) It's ok if Tridef can't make a particular game run in 3D... but when a game crashes from it I grow suspicious. There is no reason for a game to crash on start when run through Tridef. No reason at all. Attached one of the crash dumps along with my DxDiag file for system specs. This system uses a Radeon chip, I'll try it on my nVidia rig tonight, in fact I plan to also check out 3D Vision on this game, hoping it works. Attachments:2015-02-12_172846.zip (28.34 KB)

UPDATE Ok, this crash does *NOT* occur on my nVidia system in fact the game runs in breathtaking stereoscopic 3D to near perfection! (attached full-over-under and anaglyph (red/blue) screenshots) Attachments:

Interesting for this issue to occur, I'm not personally familiar with Tridef, however, it should be noted that this game is in the very early stages, and there are high possibilities that crashes can be caused when a 3rd party program is used. I don't think they will focus too much on 3rd party programs on the early stages, but it is interesting to note non-the less. Just be careful when using 3rd party programs

Will do... but you have to admit it was worth the experiment! Your game looks absolutely perfect in 3D, and you're super lucky here: the solid background of your game prevents stereoscopic window violations. That being that the objects rarely ever touch the edges of the screen. The result is the impression that I have a bunch of little houses "floating" inside my screen. At one point I had put so many circular saws on my vehicle, as it fell apart the individual pieces were getting flung around by the saws and about half of my vehicle's debris were "floating" outside of the screen. "Pop out" in 3D is hard to do right and most often unwanted but in this game it just suits it perfectly.
I highly encourage you guys to try your own game like this, it's almost as if you expected it to work well in 3D. Loving it!

Well.. there you go! I have tried stereoscopic myself briefly, but it did hurt my eyes a bit xD That was some interesting things to note however... could make an interesting feature perhaps, have an inbuilt stereoscopic setting perhaps.
Anyway. This is not much of a bug with Besiege, and more an issue caused by using a 3rd party program.
