Two simple, and quick ideas. 1. Very simple, 2 block long flat toothed 'plank' that is used in conjunction with gears. Kinda hard to explain, so heres a nifty picture. 2. Another suggestion, is to have 'difficulties' for each career stage, easy, medium, hard. For this to work, there would need to be some sort of 'money/gold' limit, and each block costs 'gold'. As well as the current size restrictions? Which relate to this: besiege.freeforums.net/thread/155/money thread. Opinions and ideas welcome! Cheers Sub!

You can over-engineer to the extreme how you want. That's what makes it so popular.

I guess such "rack" type is more desired than it would be visible (pretty sure i've seen someone dreaming about it).
To both of you guys, about money thread thing and sandbox-eness of the game in already mentioned thread is actually long and quite interesting discussion about it with very strong opinions on both sides - worth reading and maybe even participating (for know there is no real result, and i for one think there will be none till further in development, but still)

I guess such "rack" type is more desired than it would be visible (pretty sure i've seen someone dreaming about it). It would defiantly be useful to stationary catapult designs, where you are able to make minor adjustments to the trajectory of a projectile. I.e scrolling the launcher over. I suppose a similar result could be achieved using wheels. But an idea nonetheless. Then keep it in the money thread ...? Also, no. The game is fun because........ it's a sandbox game. I would also use to build elevating platforms, it could be used to raise and lower things, which could be fun in various reloadable siege creations. I definitely want to see a rack object in-game eventually. As for Money, I'm mostly frustrated in how everyone behaves as though every creation can be done outside of freebuild. All the really cool stuff, and the stuff that keeps getting referenced, would be unaffected either because they aren't overly crazy (Just cool or extra inventive) or already build in free-build.

Yeah hahaha, I wasn't too sure myself I think people prefer having a separate 'game mode' for anything that might add a challenge. I suppose people just like to go nuts, and thats what brought them to the game. I'm just been a bit more focused on the longactivty, I know eventually people will get bored of not having a goal to complete one they've finished all the campaign missions, so I've turned to challenges, as I assume you've seen my Challenge mega thread xD That's early my own opinion though, and I hold nothing against people disliking it hahahaha.
