got my photoshop working Anyways, a long time ago made a random machine or whatever, but came across this: (this is me trying to fit a Suspension in a space created by a Wooden Block) My first thought was that the Suspension was slightly taller than the Wooden Block, but it also might've been a bug in coding. Might be wrong on that, but anyway onto the rest of the idea. So my vision is that each block takes a perfect amount of space. Think like TrackMania's level editor, or Rust's triangle system. (when you add triangles pls tell me) I made an image or something: I mention Rust's triangle system in case you guys do implement angular blocks in the future or if you do implement that other suggestion for preset angles on hinges and whatnot, and the grid would apply to which surface your cursor is on. A concept image or something: That's all for me today.

Thats brilliant suggestion (nicely delivered too :3 ) I think you are not alone and many of us stumbled upon weird problems with placing things originating from those misalignments. The last concept image is great imho (as an image and as a concept. This definitely goes on a list!

I run into this problem constantly. This (uniform block shape) is a must long-term, because replacing structural parts on a complex machine is currently torture. I suspect the devs may be legally culpable under the Geneva Convention for any suffering incurred as a result. :v
