Personally i think this is very long shot - i mean there isn't full verion for PC yet, and you wanna to port it to other devices and interfaces. I think this is a valid point though, touchscreen makes sense given gameplay (although keybinds would have to be figured out differently). Im adding it to list ofcourse, but speaking among ourselves i think we should try to improve gameplay and size of content, before our (as creative fans ) effort will be given on a silver plate to all those DS's

The only real limitation I can think of (if the New3DS' enhanced CPU IS enough to handle Besiege) is the number of buttons there would be for binding in more complex vehicles... although maybe some work-around will happen during the game's development.
The potential positives are intriguing...
Streetpass for auto-sharing contraptions with other people.. Mii heads on the hapless soldiers.. Special levels where you're besieging Nintendo landmarks, like Bowser's Castle.. The ability to use tilt input as a key binding (you could set your vehicle's turning function to tilt, for instance)

Hello everybody, Devil's advocate here (yet again ) ! There are other problems besides "just" the porting (which is the second biggest one considering the differences between PC and consoles, especially portable ones) and the hardware issues to think about. - The licensing. It costs money for a game editor/studio besides Nintendo (or Sony or Microsoft for that matter) to be able to release a game on their platforms, add to that the costs for devkits (emulators are used in greater number but there are always needs for physical devkits to see how the game is handled by the platform).
- The compliance. Nintendo are known to be the most nitpicking out of the big 3 on this point. Compliance is, in a very big and undetailed nutshell, companies have a specific way to write and call buttons, parts, screens, actions, saves, dashboards, pretty much anything recurring in games relating to the platform. You CANNOT deviate from these. If you do, your product will most likely not pass their compliance testing and you'll have to pay (and wait) to be allowed to submit your product again.
- And the biggest of them all (kind of a recurring theme, you'll see): the money. All that costs money, which a budding studio might not have or might not be willing to put at risk (because yes, it is a risk ).
[/ul] But I have to agree that Besiege could easily be seen as a multiplatform (be it console, or tablet) game, given its type of gameplay/building type. Just not right of the bat though.
