so instead of only being able build 1 siege engine at a time could build 2 or more (with out breaking the camera i tried building 2 at once and camera didnt know what to focus on and went off into the distance)
also this would possibly allow for more easily free building on the ground instead of having make a weird mutation to put a single block where you want to start building an then delete that mutation off so its not attached to anything

You can change focus of camera by clicking midle mouse button or something.
By default your POV is focused on core block, but you can easily change that as i said above. Also you can move camera using WSAD and it also breaks the focus.

Also you can move camera using WSAD and it also breaks the focus. but once camera breaks off of focus on core how do you refocus on it ? i made a catapult and a siege engine i fired catapult and camera was tuck focusing on that even after it exploded

As simply as clicking middle mouse button on core block.
And it is fully functional both during building and during siege. It took me a while to grasp (however strange tha sounds) and get use to, but while you come to terms with that, experience of navigating camera becomes much less painful and much more convenient
