I tend to play in windowed mode and I also "film" gameplay with a program called gifcam but i've noticed that when im setting up gifcam out of game the game is paused 

so theres some delay if the gifs i film 

looked in options and saw no way to have game be continually running even when in background 

so suggesting that as an option to have game run in background or have paused in background like it currentyly does for players that like it the way it is
