With the mouse to control the camera, there is no need for extra camera commands on the keyboard. Everybody is used to the wasd keys for movement and the mouse for look/camera. Would love to see this as default controls or at least an option.

You can redefine keys by clicking the wrench on the middle top of the screen (named "key mapper + parameter tuning"), then pointing an element. Click onto that element, a windows opens where you can choose the key you want to activate that element.

arvester and while what you said is technically true, if one tries to assign W, A, S or D as keybind for element then element is triggered by this key AND camera moves. At least this happened when i tried it

You're right, didn't think of that :/ I never use WASD (french azerty keybord, it's a pain to use ^^)

And i thought that german keyboards were pain (im polish, but this few times i used german keyboard it was awful for me - no offense germany).
