Hello, bought this game after seeing a video someone shared, and I'm not regretting a moment of it. Even though much content is still awaiting to be added, it's amazing how stable and polished it is for an Alpha. I know Full Releases that are less stable, too many in fact, keep up the awesomeness!
I wanted to add a few suggestions to be considered, whether or not Spiderling will use them depends of course on what they aim to go for with the game, some may be personal preferences. I've also sorted them into categories for your convenience. I may add more things as I find more, assuming the topic is editable.
Building UI:
- Quicker way to exit Block Parameter/Key Binding dialogues, hitting the cross all the time can be tedious if needing to change multiple Blocks.
AND/OR
- Ability to edit the Parameters of multiple Blocks of the same kind all at once.
General UI:
- Themed Mousepointer.
Controls:
- Ability to swap out WASD and arrow keys for Camera and Block Key Bindings.
Simulation:
-Change sounds speed and pitch based on Simulation Speed. Odd, earlier recordings I made didn't have the sound change pitch and speed, but today it did, yet no updates of any kind.
Camera:
- Ability to change DOF focus somehow.
-Keys for moving the Camera up and down, it can only move left, right, forward and back, sometimes burrying the Camera underground. EDIT: Noticed the camera can be moved up and down by holding the middle mouse button...
- Ability to detach Camera from all Objects, Camera may spring back to main Block if the Object focused on despawns. (Bit personal, I like making machinima's, so prefer the Camera to stay where it is.)
