So, while mapping out all the IDs for all blocks in a couple of constants variables, in a lousy way, I found 3 IDs that weren't used in the game!
I wrote a command to my console that would manually set the placing block ID, and then I went on my venture to discover what these unused IDs were, and here are the results:

ID 4 and 8

Enjoy my discovery! I already tried IDs above 35 and there were no further secret blocks, and I doubt there are any under 0.

EDIT;
I have found out that Block ID 4 is supposed to be some sort of ground nail, to attach the machine to the ground. I suspect this, at least.

Nice catch!
I guess I should have looked closer at the list of block types I found while trying to add new ones !

I would agree that ID 4 is some sort of ground attachment, but I wouldn't hope for anything new from ID 8, as it seems to have the name "SpringOld"

Those will be fun to play with; Think I'll recreate one of those old mine-clearing vehicles... just a truck with some protective plating and a big roller spinning and whipping bunches of chains around in front of it.

As you already said, sadly the ground spike & red muscle aren't really usable blocks; but on the other hand the chains are a great addition which I expect to come in an update soon, eventhough they are bulky to use they are now my favorite weapon by far
