My take on tip jet main rotor design. A friend of mine said that this is the only way to cancel out angular momentum without tail rotor when using single main rotor... So here we are with that type of helicopter rebuilt by me in Besiege) I should say, it has some issues that mainly are part of me forgetting about gyroscopic force. Small change in control scheme will do the trick. Controlls:+ to spin the main rotor 8/5 to pitch nose down/up 4/6 to roll left/right 7/9 to yaw left/right 0/1 to change upwards acceleration (all numlock) Attachments:TipJetHeli-reupload.zip

I tested your heli and it is pretty hard to use , depsites a lack of maniability , the heli is pretty cool and flies well . I tried another nose in order to add maniability but it didn't work well . You got something bro I just can't fly forward .

Ok so i managed to add maniability by changin a little bit the structure of the heli and it flies well , can easily go forward or backwards and turn. Download:(Based on previous heli): TipJetHeli2&3

trazer12 Thanks a lot actually - only because of your modifications I noticed that my original design... Well, I didn't save it That was the previous, uncomplete version, I don't know why the last one didn't save. So I had to rebuilt it or something like that) Tried it out, still hard to control, but man, that flies beautifully) Link to the creation updated.

comedinyan ,I worked again on your updated heli and it is way better than the first one and after a few modifications to the stabilizer on the back and the rotor but was unable to fly forward... I liked it , it flied well but i can't fix the maniability without changing the direction device so i changed and finally got this:
JetHeli4.bsg (12.03 KB)

trazer12 Nice one, flies gorgeously! Though I can't seem to control it still, having the ability to roll would do the job. Also, mine has the feature to change tilt angle of the main rotor blades - that's the way I control its vertical speed. See you in the new forum thread
