Hey, I just noticed that my Linux system seems to handle big builds better than Windows. The attached machine runs at about 3 fps on Windows with time at 100%. On Linux, it runs at about 30 instead. It's a dual-boot system, so the difference is certainly not in the hardware either. Operating System: Windows 8.1 | Arch Linux System Specs: Intel i5-4460 @ 3.20GHz, 8GB RAM, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 750 Game Version: v0.03, Steam on Windows | Humble on Linux Output Log: output_log.txt (202.51 KB) (Windows, see here why none for Linux) Machine: aircraft_launcher.bsg (38.55 KB) I use the official NVIDIA drivers on both Linux and Windows. Now, I don't expect the game to perform the same on two different OSs, but an order of magnitude difference seems a little bit excessive. Also, I would have thought that Windows should perform better than Linux, not the other way round, since I believe the drivers tend to be better and that the .NET runtime by Microsoft would be faster than Mono, if there is any difference at all. CPU usage was also very small on both tries, in fact I had a couple more programs running in the background on Linux. I'm still not sure if this is a bug, but I figured this was the best place to post about it and I think it's definitely something worth discussing. If anyone wants any further information just ask

i thing the difference is - memory used by windows and other applications. can you try to close some applications in windows, so that you have more memory? and check fps again?

Unlikely that is the problem. I actually had more applications open in Linux at the time than I did when testing this in Windows, so that doesn't fit. Also, I have 8GB of RAM and less than half of that is actually used when doing this.
