EDIT : Credits to Praesumo, and his beautiful Apache, I'm not the creator of this set, but I wanted to share it ! Hello ! I've seen a lot of questions about how to make a rotor not making the structure spinning, well there is a simple way to do it : wheels !! Control : up As you can see propellers are not in the same direction, so the bottom ones cancel the rotation and up ones allow to fly. Hope it will gives you ideas and solve your problems ! See you later Attachments:HowToFlyStable.bsg (2.5 KB)

How... Did you get the propellor blades to attach to a swivel joint?

how comes, that every maschine ive seen so far that flies straight upwards beginns to tilt to some direction? shouldnt it be perfectly balanced?

OttoNL : just click on the up part of the swivel joint (straight part), no trick used
prrovoss : well I noted it as well and I can't explain it. Maybe game's physics mess up after some time flying ? Can't explain ...

I think the sole reason it doesn't spin is the swivel. It doesn't transfer the torque to the structure. And the tilt might have something to do with a 'problem' that is discussed here besiege.freeforums.net/thread/535/same-design-different-results. Or simply physics. A lot issues with flying have to do with imbalance, e.g. because of the way weight is distributed in braces. Another thing seems to be too much or too little flexibility, but it's really attributed to many things and the synergy between those.

largehadroncollider : I made a try without the bottom propellers and it fails ! the swivel does not make the structure spin, but if you don't push propellers on it, it simple spin but does not lift ! because the swivel "absorb" all the rotation

I see. This can be avoided by using one of the engine builds, because the saws don't need an anchor point to spin.
Your solution is nonetheless certainly a smart one!

I found it to be too bulky to be used as propulsion for a plane....so I made an Intercontinental Propeller Missile instead:
