For the time being, I just have endless boundaries, and build my maps with wooden blocks. Its not as nice though

You could do the map editor the same way you have designed the warmachine building part. So you would have blocks like cliffs, the mill and even castle towers.

I think a map editor would be amazing, it would add more content to steam workshop. Maybe even start contests and events to clear certain levels in record time. And if I could make a big giant open level with sheep everywhere my son would go nuts. He Loves watching me play this game.

We would very much like to do a map editor, however it will be time consuming to create so there probably won't be an official one for quite some time.
