No sense describing it. Load it up and try it. Press spacebar to start then up arrow until you lift off. Then let go and just watch. Remember what happens when you fly too close to the sun. Thanks In some situations it behaves in a bad way, creating unstable situations, and extra energy, which can destroy the whole machine. |

Looks like the damping/elastic friction does not exist below a certain threshold.
Loading this up and NOT taking off, the model bends the arms as expected, this puts some tension changes into the elastics which dampen down, to a point, then just keeps going with a slight vibration.
I wonder if the little "cog" bits on the wheel actually interact with the elastics?
When I do take off the arms end up flying off in mid air after a little flight.
Also, can we not put the lowest block "on the ground"? The little drop at the start is what seems to send it off wobbling forever. I tried the translate machine function, but no joy.

Edit: Not the elastics fault, take them off and you get the same result Need to play/tinker more
Take the swivel joints out and all is well, movement dampens out.
Can't get it to fly at all though
