So i recently bought the game and I'm having a lot of fun. The game would not start on both my MacBook and my hackintosh desktop. If anyone else has been experiencing this issue a simple terminal command fixing permissions sorted it for me.
chmod -R 755 /Applications/Besiege.app

so i have tried this terminal command and have tried re-downloading it several times, and still nothing, all it does after extracting the zip is make a new folder, so i open it click on the banner and it pops out and that's all no load up no nothing. is there anything else i can do/should be doing? when i use terminal i get "no such file or directory" maybe i'm not doing it right?

You need to move it to applications or change the path to the application mattd.
