so i was building a plane, i placed a cannon on a decoupler and the cannon had and angle of 45 when i placed it EDIT: i tested it a bit more everything i place on that decoupler has a angle of 45

i tested it a bit more everything i place on that decoupler has a angle of 45 I'm pretty sure this is a bug named something like "angular placement bug" or whatever Some people exploit it to make threads for tanks and other kinds of crazy stuff. But I'm pretty sure it has something to do with the rotation of your entire machine. So, if you reset the rotation (with the tiny little green button in the top left corner of the rotation button) the machine should rotate back to 0 degrees and anything you place should fit the usual 90 degree rotations. So, unless you specifically want something at an angle other than 0, 90, 180 or 270 degrees then keep the machine at one of those angles.
