New props are symmetrical both in appearance and performance, they mount at an automatic slight angle of attack. If you rotate it 180 degrees it acts the same. The performance is quite different, not good or bad, just different. It might just be that some of the quirks have been straightened out. The self powering aspect is still there, if you decrease the built in mounted angle of attack slightly the blade will power itself, perhaps at a different rate than the prior prop, I cannot tell since the prior props are gone. Initially it seems the symmetry and reverse performance has been addressed. "If you decrease the angle of attack" (thus reducing drag) "The blade will power itself" (Do you mean the rotation speed goes up? because that sounds pretty intuitive and is a consequence of reduced drag) About the video and stuff, new props are out so yeah, not needed. I mean if you have a powered prop and get the angle of attack just right you can remove the power and the prop will continue spinning on its own.

When you angle it though, thats using the mod right?

Sooo we happy with the new props then? Yes, the visual representation and reactions to angle of attack are fixed. They can still self power but that's for another day I guess. Be careful, there are trolls about.

In deed it is, now that is pretty sick indeed.. although very illogical.. it's very cool

Sooo we happy with the new props then? There's a small caveat with them and that is they only face one way even after rotating them, so to get counter rotating props you have to add steering blocks and pitch them manually, but they work correctly, intuitively and are correctly represented now. EDIT: Didn't read the tooltip. there's even a default way to invert them, that's awesome!

You're able to flip them by pressing f, similar to how you flip wheels.. have you tried that?
