There are already chains planned for Besiege although when and if they make it in to the game is always a question, there are priorities and chains may not be on the most important list. Example of chains planned for the game: besiege.freeforums.net/thread/576/flail-awayYou can build chains/belts/tacks using hinges but I have always done it the hard way. I am posting this video to show an easier way. Apologies for the video, no commentary. Just showing how it can be done. You can vary the procedure to alternate the rotation of each link (hinge) to make a serviceable, although quite large, chain. You can use the belt like this: besiege.freeforums.net/thread/794/full-auto-belt-ejecting-shellsYou can use the tracks like this: besiege.freeforums.net/thread/708/tracksSo, here is the video. The problem with making tracks from hinges is that you have to move each corner piece half a block in two different directions. The answer is to build the scaffolding using wheels since they are a half a block thick. The video should clear up the challenges and solution. After watching the video I note that I left one link rotated incorrectly 90 degrees but you will still get the picture.

Thanks for this! Feel like a dope for not thinking about creating a separate wood "scaffolding" to place those links on.
