Hi all, I want to make a ballista =)) I did the bow part but the problem is i can not manage to place an object to throw. Cause you have to place every object on another object and make it bound to eachother. So, is there a way to make an arrow or something like that and place it on a long wooden shaft without bounding on it. IT should be free, it may touch to another object but it shouldn't be stuck on it. So i am using 2 springs and one decoupler. Strings are attached to decoupler and the decoupler is attached to the hull. IS there a way to accomplish it? IF no, i demand a chance to make objects "not" bound to another object. Sı i can throw spikes, arros, even blocks to my evil village =)) I added my ballista design, you can check. Thank you in advance! Attachments:ballista.bsg (1.33 KB)

Hi there. You can actually put wooden pieces that have no attachement to anything. The way you do it is to build the structure around the wooden block you want to place (actually placing it in space) and deleting the blocks around it that you don't need. Here's what you can do with your ballista. The wooden block falls right in place when you start the simulation. ballistaT.bsg (1.4 KB)

Yes, i was talking about that! =)) Your solution works perfectly but maybe the developers can make it easier by interface =)) Thank you very much!

Hi, I have looked at your setup, and though there was some problems by the spring to get stuck and so on, so I made a new one from scratch, based on the model you build, which has a few features. Left Wheel: Num7 - Forward | Num4 Reverse Right wheel: Num8 - Forward | Num5 Reverse "Load"= Num0 | Shoot = Num1 ^ If you do not have numpads, you can easily change it with the wrench/Keymapper.
