First off, Besiege is an amazing game!
Alot of Early Access games end up dead somewhere in your library,
but Besiege; i don't regret it!
Yet.. while this is in development i may suggest some stuff
Excuse the bullet point format, wrote it down while playing,
literally looking for stuff which could be useful for constructing technical stuff.
Alot of the listed above are meant like adjustable, figure it out on your own, stuff rather than plug and play.
Whatever torque shouldn't be counteracted by just placing down a gyroscope.
Well.. i'm dropping in here out of nowhere with a huge list of suggestions - strange.
Nah, i like the game and i wish i could do more in-game, construction wise, go beyond the limits,
unfortunately i get limited alot by the blocks available, of course it's in development.
I hope you don't hate me i just want this game to really kick butt.

- rectangular Housing, pole inside rotates, block stays the same. 1 & 2 block length
- cylinder Housing, 1/2 & 1 & 2 block length
- bearing, steering / spinning block without steering or self-spinning function.
- metal blocks, wood and metal versions of blocks, more durable metal versions
- tension spring and compression spring, one retracts - one extends - or key bind to retract and extend
- hinge can be rotated around connection point, while placing
- rotatable blocks, not 90°, but 45° or 22,5° on all axes
- longer suspension block, 3 or 4 blocks
- Arrows or something for some sort of ballista
- bigger balloons - 3x - 4x as big as current (air ship like)
- slab blocks 1/2 length, thickness of wheels, cogs but a block - a spacer if you will
- adjustable wheel size, small medium large
- gliding pads, even armor plates, for boulders, bombs, arrows, etc. to slide on
- adjustable cog size, small medium large
- wheel with joints to place blocks on it, 4-8 joints
- larger flying block, current, medium, large
- chains, which can be attached to cogs - fan belts ?
- ropes - can be attached to other blocks - flexible braces basically
- dynamic length blocks, length varies on distance - length cap maybe ?
- flywheel - adjustable mass & size
- rotation speed is controlled by attached spinning block, wheel or motor kind of thing.
- gyroscope - to counteract torque and tension within the construction - adjustable speed and mass
- some sort of bucket - for lava or pitch to be poured on enemies
