there are a number of ways to make a vehicle go faster. you can try stacking wheels one above the other, adding new sets of wheels, you could use a chaos engine to speed them up...

so many possibilities already!

there's always a chance they make maximum wheel speed higher, but they would have to increase the grip (they should anyways in my hopinion)
