Bdubs suggested this on his latest video, and I thought I'd share. Make the bombs have keymapped timers where they don't go off the second they hit the ground, but when the player exceeds the time limite, or decides to detonate them.
It would make for an interesting timed level as well. "Get to the objective before the bombs go off."
