There is a limit to how many bombs you can place into a reloadable device that fits into the bounding box. Because of this, while trying to future proof a multifunction war machine, I thought it'd be interesting to pick up bombs already placed in the world and fling them with my catapult arm to cut down on how many bombs I have to carry into a level. Currently, my catapult arm doubles as a robot arm for the level where you have to pick up a block of lumber. Much to my disappointment, although you can pick up all manner of NPCs, the bombs placed in the levels explode instantly on contact.
My suggestion is that these bombs be interactive, opening up the possibility for what I just described, or other mission possibilities (bomb disposal, etc.) Mostly I care about what I described. It means for some levels in which you start out under fire, I wouldn't have to worry about having a bomb resting exposed on my back, as release mechanisms are a pain.

And also bombs travelling along halfpipes explodes upon contact with pipe during launch. Will be nice if there is a better property for bombs.
