Appreciate the effort and i must say that this is imho quite good middleground - actually even better than what sirenapples proposed (although in some points very similar) I can't wait to see how thic ideas will be received.

Having seperate challenge modes would be awesome - I'm all for that. However free sandbox should stay the default way to play the game. I'm glad I feel that it would allow the game to cater for more than just the creative, go crazy players. P.s, check the quick edit, destruction mode.

I think a per-map challenge mode would be really awesome. Let each map have its own objectives ("Destroy the tower", "Do as much damage as possible", "Deliver this block of wood") and constraints ("Use no more than 2 weapon blocks", "Use less than 100 blocks", "Use six gears and no wheels")

I love this game and I was wondering if this game could have a money system like Armadillo Run. Different items cost different amounts of money and each level costs you money. But you have a set goal for the stage, like Ipsilon. If you don't meet that set requirement of money used at the end of the stage you have to go back and redo some of he missions to shave of Pounds, I think this would add some re-playability to the game. But it is just and opinion he does a better job of explaining this, skip to 6:10 www.youtube.com/watch?v=4JoPlcyxxb4 Silly Silly idea, i mean a separate game mode sure, but i think most people like making various machine and the most outrageous machine possible for the level

this idea would hurt my building really bad. i mean- if its possible maybe just eh... "Hard mode" / "Easy mode"?... Ya know like KSP (kerbal space program) they have a mode to build rockets without a budget and a "Career Mode" where you build rockets with a budget. i mean. if the game isnt challanging enough just simple add "Hard mode" if the games challenging on its own, "Normal mode" and apologies if someone already said this, i kinda jumped a little ahead

If something like this was implemented It would be an optional thing like the building box or perhaps restricted to specific levels.

i'm sleepy but I feel this belongs here because it captures what it is about Besiege that has made it gone viral and why it should stay a sandbox game first and another physics sim with restriction last imgur.com/gallery/xJsfG
