mostly for curiosity, but how does the ranking system work on this forums? i get that you start out as peasant, but how does one rank up?

I believe 25 posts is builder.
Than 50 is engineer
Than 100 is senior engineer.
That is just what I've observed but I could be wrong.

There are 9 ranks, to get to a rank you need to meet the post requirements.
So far we have seen:
Peasant 0
Builder 25
Engineer 50
Senior Engineer 100
The others are a mystery ;o

Maybe there's a rank for 500 or 1000 posts? It would be quite a jump from 100 though. Pure speculation. |

There could also be custom titles given to long time users or users with specific detailed skills that make them stand out, like Master of Aerodynamics, or something along those lines.

I feel like there might be one at 300, 600, 1000, 1500, 2000 (or maybe 3000) which could be principal engineer, Lead engineer, Chief engineer, .........., Da Vinci... Maybe? Ahahaha, I got no clue. |
