Hello there, kind developers.
First i would like to tell that you are doing great job, and your simplified physiques is awesome!!!
Never the less there is a things to change.
1) the equations of elasticity you use for metal strings (those which pass trough obstacles) are wrong. there is a term which destabilize the system. if you ll do a chair for example, the inner vibrations will increase from nothing, and whole thing will collapse.
if you post here the equation and numerical method, i will help you balance it. i do mathematical models, i am scientist, i know how to work with it.
1 more thing about this strings i dont like is that its mass is centered at the point where you started, not in the middle of it. it makes you to allways think of this, when you need to do something perfectly centered. its weight is allso dont depend on length.
2) i dont like the fact that i dont know mass of the blocks. can we have this info in tips in game? allso mass of entire mashine will be extremely usefull.
i have whole bunch of suggestions(about 50), so if i ll have a feed back on this i will go on.
3) aerodynamic propeller needs to have reversed texture. the one it has now is not correct, it should be mirrored. Other thing about it, is that now you can turn in 2 positions , by pressing "r" button, and its really needed to be 4, like wing, to make well balanced flying models.
4) continuous rotation for some details like wings would be really lovely, you dont need to do it for all the details. but you can =)
5) more materials, like steel blocks(same as wood, but made of steel), and other materials, like bronze, silver, gold adamantium, diamond, whatever comes to your mind. users can unlock them with finishing different levels. all same blocks, but more durability, resistance, etc...
