I am new to the game, and the forums, I have built a ton of stuff, but I felt like sharing this one.
I was super pleased that you can use just braces which cut down immensely on weight, and make the machines more durable and functional.
This catapult lobs a bomb a respectable distance on its own, but I added 2 range options. at the front of the wheel assembly I added pistons that push the catapult
up, increasing the range and arc reasonably.
This device uses tank drive, Press
to go left,to go right, and
and
to go straight. Hitting [Down] reverses direction.
Keys
[2] Range +1
[L] launch missile
Pressing [1] and [2] at the same time give you maximum range.
The rear wheels have pistons that shoot out a ballast when the catapult launches to give it some whip. I haven't played with the settings to see
how effective it is.
